Stephanie Coker Aderinokun is a multifaceted Nigerian talent who has made significant strides as a host, actor, chieftess, author and producer. Raised in the United Kingdom, she grew up deeply connected to her Nigerian roots, indulging in Nigerian music, movies, and cuisine, which fueled her passion for her heritage and culture. Her academic background includes a degree in communications and media from Brunel University, London.

Her television career boasts notable roles as a presenter for MTV Base shows and “The Voice of Nigeria,” along with acting credits in acclaimed Nollywood films such as “King of Boys” and “Fate of Alakada”.
Adding to her impressive portfolio, she hosts the popular podcast “Me, Her & Everything Else,” featuring guests like BamBam, Noble Igwe, Tania Omotayo, Mariam Timmer, Idia Aisien, Dabota Lawson, and Caroline Hutchings. Inspired by her daughter Ariella, Stephanie ventured into children’s literature with her debut book “Ariella and the Talking Drum,” published in 2021. This literary milestone followed her investiture as Yeye Akinruiyiwa of the Owu Kingdom in Abeokuta, Ogun State, alongside her husband Olumide Aderinokun.
Beyond her entertainment and advocacy work, Stephanie launched her NGO, The Future Is Her, in 2016. Through this initiative, she has empowered young girls and women through mentorship, health, and education outreach.
Stephanie Coker has also been a prominent advocate for women’s health issues particularly Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). Her documentary ‘Where The Heck Is My Period?’ premiered at AFRIFF in 2022, highlights the challenges of women affected by PCOS and provides hope and inspiration to women in this situation. The documentary tells the stories of the realities of 11 African women from diverse backgrounds including her living with PCOS which is an often misunderstood health condition. The documentary was released on Amazon Prime on 15 March, 2024 as the first licensed documentary by Amazon Prime in Nigeria.
Stephanie’s dedication to philanthropy, storytelling, and advocacy for gender equality and women’s mental health has solidified her status as a powerful voice both in Nigeria and the diaspora. Her journey showcases her versatility and commitment to making a difference, proving that she truly excels while wearing many hats.
