Meet Victor Ayaara, a Nigeria-born musician, journalist, and philanthropist making waves in the diaspora. With a rich background in broadcasting and entertainment, Victor will be launching his highly anticipated album, “Freedom of Expression.” This would be held on July 13, 2024, at Influence Restaurant and Lounge in Norcross, GA. This event is a two-in-one celebration, as Victor will also be launching the Imabasi Youth Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting orphans, at-risk youth, and less-privileged individuals in both the Atlanta Metro area and Nigeria.
Ayaara’s journey in the entertainment industry has been remarkable. He started his broadcasting career at Galaxy Television in 2002, before moving to Silverbird Television in 2006. It was here that he spent several years honing his craft as a presenter and entertainer. His charisma and talent made him a household name in Nigeria, before he left the shores of Nigeria 11 years ago to reside in Atlanta, Georgia, with his family.
However, Victor’s true passion goes beyond the spotlight. His philanthropic spirit was instilled in him by his mother, Ima. She taught him that, “You don’t have to be a millionaire to touch lives.” Growing up, Victor saw firsthand how his mother, a widow and petty trader, raised her five kids and still managed to help others in need. Her selflessness and kindness have inspired Victor to continue her legacy through the Imabasi Youth Foundation.
“My decision to establish a non-profit organization is to give back. I have been tremendously blessed, and I want to be a blessing to others,” Victor shares. “I hope to continue my mother’s legacy of kindness and compassion through the Imabasi Youth Foundation.”
The Imabasi Youth Foundation aims to provide resources and opportunities to those in need, giving hope and empowerment through music and education. Victor’s album launch and foundation launch event, “A Night of Freedom and Hope,” promises to be an unforgettable evening of music, philanthropy, and community.
