Sojiii, Nigeria-born, Toronto-based Afrobeats artist, has officially released his EP titled “Alive” along with his hit single “Ti Le” capturing the attention of both Nigerians and international audiences.
His newly released project shows the world exactly why he’s one of the bright lights in the genre. “Alive” is a seven-track EP which includes “Corner”, “Journey So Far” and “Danci Ma”. The EP showcases a unique blend of sounds and invigorating themes.
Sojiii, whose real name is Tolani Alvin Osungade was born in Jos, Nigeria. His passion for music was ignited at age thirteen, and it has been shaped by artists such as Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, Shabba Ranks, and James Brown. His move to Canada provided a platform to expand his fanbase to North America and now globally.


Since his official debut in 2019 with the chart-topping single “Tombo,” accompanied by an exotic visual shot in Canada, Sojiii has become a music sensation both in Africa and the diaspora. His 2019 release, “Motivation,” inspired listeners with its contagious rhythm and powerful lyrics, sparking the #TomboChallenge among his fans.
His music, blends AfroBeats, Afrosoul, Afropop, Dancehall, Reggae, RNB, and Hiphop. As he developed his sound, he is now a sought-after singer, songwriter, and producer, with a growing fanbase both in Africa and abroad. His growing discography includes tracks like “Night Vision” (2020) and “Joyous (Medicine)” featuring Kirk Diamond (2022).
